The National Center for State Courts is hosting its E-Courts Conference in Las Vegas. The event explores innovations in electronic documents, systems for data access, overall communications, and customer service. Nobody from the 18th Circuit is going (to our knowledge), which is a shame but not a surprise.
But get this: the conference will be covered by a professional note-taker for the benefit of those unable to attend. In short, it will (sort of) be blogged. If true, that is a real innovation and one we’ve been advocating at LPM for some time.
ed. note: while blogging the conference would be excellent, i am confident the conference organizers will charge a fee for the information rather than make it available for free to courts (like ours) that could benefit from it. again: a shame.
