Banking world will have their eyes on Amsterdam today. ABN’s sale of
US unit LaSalle to Bank of America @ stake $21 billion. Follow the
trail – 1) sell unit for $21 billion. 2) get bought

If not, Barclays’ backs off. Yet, three other contenders bid higher
than Barclays’ but only if you don’t sell LaSalle.
